I’m 53 and just finished Body Revolution Today. What can I say, it’s kind of bitter sweet, being done, but really liking the last 90 days. I feel stronger than ever. Don’t let these workouts intimidate you. I’ve had surgery on my bladder and can’t jump around on workouts, so I modified the workouts and for a person who doesn’t sweat normally on a workout, I was! The workouts are on average 30 minutes (which I liked alot) and they progressively got harder. It mixes upper and lower body moves 4 days a week and then a separate day of cardio 2 days, with one day for rest.
There is alot of plank type moves, which my upper body was not my strong suit, so I modified like the pushup type moves. Still felt it though. On average, my heart rate monitor showed a burn of 450 – 480 calories per workout. Oh, and I wasn’t a big Jilian fan when I bought it, but a friend and I did this together.
Ya, she’s actually a pretty cool gal. Anyway, I will probably do another rotation of 90 days after a few week break. Oh, I’m at my goal weight, so the scale didn’t drop much, but I did see inches and clothing sizes drop. I didn’t follow the eating plan, just used Myfitnesspal to log my calories.
